Xiadian gold mine main shaft 1600KW series 12 pulse hoist electric control system is installed and debugged in 2008. Field engineers had overcame the difficult of short construction period, complex system process and so on, finished project debug well, ensured the new main shaft hoist system into production use smoothly.

3. Introduction to the Hoist Electric Control System
This hoist electrical control system uses S7-300 series of PLC as the control core. Master and monitor CPU are all 314-2DP. Middle signal system adopts Siemens S7-200 Independent PLC as Profibus-Dp substation. Loading and unloading station control systems all use the S7-200 224 CPU. The transmission system adopts two original imported ABB DC governor core to form the 12 pulse mode in series. The model of DC governors is DCS800-S02-2500-05+K454. The model of excitation device is DCS800-S01-180-04. Loading station control system uses the independent CPU to form the smart Profibus-Dp substation with master CPU. When communication fails it still can realize automatic chain operation of the loading station by turning to the local work mode, improved the reliability of the system. Hoist electric control system realized the unattended full-automatic operation mode in the whole process of automatic loading of ore, running, acceleration, deceleration, stopping and unloading of ore. Date putted into operation of the project is August 2008.
