After the discharge, the slurry is hardened to become a consolidated body with a certain consolidation strength, so that the loose tailings sand is condensed as a whole, no cementation occurs, the dust pollution is avoided and the impact to the environment is reduced greatly. In this process, the shear strength index of the tailings is enhanced, the stability of the tailings storage is improved, the void volume between the tailings sands is reduced and the infiltration of rainwater and the sewage are reduced. Therefore, the invention can greatly reduce the pollution to the groundwater environment and surface water, further mitigate the impact on the growth and reproduction of crops, forests, livestock and fish. It can also improve the stability and safety of the tailings accumulation slope, thereby eliminating the risk of the landslide and dam collapse, which guarantees the safety of people’s lives and property. This technology is especially suitable for areas with large earthquake intensity, complex geological conditions and potential damage to the downstream.
