The characteristics of manganese ore in China are low grade, fine grain size and high impurity content. To obtain high quality concentrates that meet the requirements of smelting and chemical production, efficient beneficiation must be carried out.

The beneficiation of fire method is a promising method for mineral processing in China for high-phosphorus high-iron and low-manganese refractory ore.
